Test Article Coordinator

We have an excellent career opportunity for a Test Article Coordinator to join our Discovery Invitro Screening Metabolism team in Madison, WI.

Position Summary:

This position performs any combination of sample management tasks, including shipping, receiving, storing, labeling, sampling, transferring, tracking, inventory reconciliation, archival, and disposal of test article, control article, and/or samples.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills including attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and effective communication skills

The essential job duties are:

• Assist in reviewing shipping paperwork and container information against protocols and eNotes
• Coordinate retrieval, check out, and return of study related materials and documents appropriately
• Responsible for entry and accuracy of client material inventories
• Communicate any discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Handle internal customer inquiries and requests
• Learn to maintain storage units in accordance with GLPs, SOPs, and Policies and Procedures to ensure the integrity of study related materials and assists with organization of the units
• Prioritizes workload and/or special projects daily
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• Associate's degree
  • Experience may be substituted for level of education

• Experience with internal/external customer service
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications and proficient at the department specific software used
• Excellent documentation skills

Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm

• Flexibility needed due to overtime and occasional weekend work
