Test Associate Senior Engineer - Networking**

Title : Test Associate Senior Engineer

Location : Bangalore, India

As a Test Associate Senior Engineer, NSM QA, you will be a key member of the SonicWall's Network Security Manager QA team driving the quality of our products to next level with a particular focus on driving improved performance and Inclusive User experience. You will work within our agile software development process and have an important impact on improving and ensuring the quality of the product line. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest quality testing frameworks and tools .

Responsibilities :

• Create tests to identify software problems, analyze bugs and errors found during tests.
• Maintain test beds and troubleshoot those as and when needed.
• Design and Develop tools using Python and other scripting languages.
• Collaborate with other QA engineers within team on issues found during the test cycle.
•  Report issues found during test cycle of the product with details.
•  Work closely with different teams like Development, Product Management, IT support.

Requirement: 

• Ability to work independently, self starter with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills. 
• Show aptitude to learn new things and incorporate new ideas
• Strong sense of ownership for given task .
• Basic knowledge of Networking basics is must .
• Basic Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle .
• Python or experience with any other programming language is a must
• Familiarity with Linux operating system 
• Basic understanding of Agile 
• Familiarity with Cloud Based platforms such as AWS is plus.
• Knowledge of virtualization-Vmware/KVM/HyperV is a plus .
• Familiarity with Bug tracking tool such as JIRA, BugZilla is a plus.
• Knowledge on Kubernetes, Dockers is plus.

Education and Experience:

• BE/BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science or any related area .
• 0-3 years of industry hands-on experience in Automation and Manual testing
