Test Automation Engineer-Embedded Systems

About the Role: We are looking for ahighly motivated Test Automation Engineerto develop and maintainautomated test suites for small embedded devices. This role requiresstrong expertise in Python with Pytestand a background inembedded system testing. As acustomer-facingengineer, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This position will require you work on-premise at our client's facility in San Diego, CA 92131. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintainPython-basedautomated test frameworks. • ExecutePytesttest plans and test cases for embedded systems and radios • Analyze test results and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. • Use tools likeFabric,Ansible, andDockerto manage environments and deployments • Log and track defects usingJIRAand maintain test coverage traceability inJAMA. • UtilizeWireshark,iperf, and other network tools for performance validation and protocol-level debugging. • Run integration tests onRaspberry Pi, radio-based platforms, and other embedded devices. Requirements: • 3+ yearsof experience intest automation for embedded systems. • Strong proficiency inPython and Pytest. • Experience designing and maintainingautomated test frameworks. • Familiarity with debugging embedded or network-connected devices • Must beeligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in acustomer-facingrole.
