Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

KINEXON Industries builds integrated real-time solutions for indoor and outdoor localization, motion sensing and connectivity.
Our resulting analytics and predictions enable our customers to better understand, automate and improve processes and products.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We are a dynamic international team developing a UWB based Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) enabling our solutions in industries applications. To realize the precision and scalability of our product for modern IoT solutions, we are developing a full stack of software components including firmware, backend, and frontend applications.
Join our full-stack team to support our full stack system and integration testing in collaboration with your colleagues from our software and hardware departments. You will support development of our BDD test base and our hardware testing infrastructure based on GitLab CI with docker and python frameworks.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
For this opportunity we are looking for someone with
- A solid understanding of bash and python scripting,
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks, docker and C++ GoogleTest,
- Some experience with electronics, soldering simple circuits,
- Enthusiasm to understand and thoroughly test complex systems and
- The motivation and soft skills to work in an agile team to produce innovative solutions
- The willingness to come to the office in Munich most days.
YOUR TASKS
As a Test Automation Engineer in our agile RTLS team you will
- Support all levels of automated software testing across our teams: Unit-testing, system-testing and release testing in black-box and white-box approaches,
- Maintain and shape our GitLab CI infrastructure,
- Design and improve our electrical and mechanical system test infrastructure in collaboration with hardware developers and
- Define test criteria and analyze test reports together with your colleagues
OUR TECH STACK
Our testing infrastructure is mainly built on top of a python BDD framework with some minor parts of C++ unit and system tests. We utilize GitLab's built-in CI infrastructure to run unit and interface tests in a Kubernetes cluster. In addition, we build and maintain hardware solutions to test our IoT devices.
