Job Description

EBAD is seeking a competent individual with drive, strong problem-solving skills, and the desire to be challenged in new ways, to join its team at the Moorpark Test Lab, filling the position of Test Engineer (TE).

The Moorpark Test Lab is a robust and cohesive team, composed of technical experts with decades of diverse experience in the aerospace industry.

EBAD's TEs serve as leads for environmental test efforts on cross-functional project teams across our site, for both development and production programs, working with a wide variety of products. TE responsibilities include:

• Test setup design and fabrication
• Fixture/tooling design and procurement
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Test methodology development
• Test requirement evaluation
• Test procedure reviewing and writing
• Test result (data) interpretation and evaluation
• Coordinating with external service providers
• Test witnessing

Requirements:

The candidate shall have an AS/BS degree (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred). The following are required skills:

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills and be able to interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Experience with all Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience in the following areas will be beneficial for the ideal candidate:

• Experience working in an aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of explosive material or ordnance devices.
• Experience operating bench-top electrical equipment, such as digital multimeters, programmable power supplies, current generators, or oscilloscopes.
• Exposure to electro-dynamic shakers, thermal chambers, thermal vacuum chambers,
• Knowledge of the use of instrumentation such as thermocouples, strain gauges, or transducers.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
