Position Summary

This role is a critical member of our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) group. Primarily in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the totality of our "End Of Line test" function for our ECU and related sensors. This will include interpreting test specifications and implementing them thru our test equipment as well as supporting standard production. Of further intent for this role is to foster support of future technologies, additional SW flashing as well as growing and learning our machine control (PLC) logic as part of defining standards and supporting our launch readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AME responsible for interfacing with engineering, interpreting engineering specifications for End Of Line test and implementing/debugging into our test code environment.
• Provide any required support of daily production related to EOL
• Responsible for all facets of related equipment and SW purchases to support new programs/lines with respect to EOL
• Initiate process improvements, develop the conceptual and detailed design, and lead the improvement project through to successful implementation.
• Lead new process development implementation, as needed, for newer processes such as "Late Dedication Flashing" and new Cyber Security demands.
• Provide support and direction to Manufacturing Engineers and other technical staff at the manufacturing sites.
• Additional growth target/opportunity to learn machine logic (PLC, Robot, Camera, etc) to both help AME drive specifications as well as supporting launches

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering required
• 2+ years relevant experince (including Co-op and Internship)
• Basic understanding of CAN communication protocol is highly preferred
• Experience writing and compiling C code beneficial with NI LabWindows an additional positive
• Ability to seamlessly work with various internal and external resources
• Clear and organized communication with strong time management organization
