Test Engineer

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing manual test engineering tools to support our software products and lead process improvement initiatives.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Test Engineer, preferably with Medical Device Software experience or from a regulated industry, to design, develop and execute a manual test strategy that enhances ROI while delivering the highest quality of products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager in defining, communicating and overseeing proper design verification approach for all testing efforts
• Ensure all defects are being properly documented in JIRA and communicated to

appropriate team members and management

• Work closely with necessary teams to review deliverables and provide SQA input where applicable
• Responsible for authoring and maintaining SQA deliverables such as the SaMD Verification Plan, and the Verification Test Summary Report
• Review and support of unit testing as well as the compiling of test reports
• Change Control Board member responsible for determining priority and severity of defects
• Management of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support of Compliant Handling processes
• Strong Experience in developing and executing test cases for software products and services.
• Experience in defining test scenario
• Develop test documentation and reporting
• Experience in Smoke, GUI, Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, Cross browser, Cross Platform and Exploratory Testing.
• Experience in Defect Management
• Experience or Knowledge in Agile

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience in a Test Engineer role
• Knowledge of or experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Knowledge of or experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium (optional)
• Experience working in a regulated industry
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications
• Experience with SaMD preferred
• Knowledge in Cloud Platform (GCP, AWS) preferred
• Experience in Test Management tool (Optional)
• Experience in Jira, SQL
• Experience in any coding language like Java, Python
