Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer Inc. is currently seeking a System Test Engineer to join the system team, who can assist in product development, testing and customer issue debugging. This individual will be required to work cross-department and assist product and service engineers as needed for customer special requirements and issue tracking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Perform customer system FRU programming, component integration and assembly sample systems• Provide System level and board level level troubleshooting• To review and perform failure analysis with report• To work with cross-functional teams for system testing and assist in system preparation development• Generate test report and record the complete test process, configuration, findings and results • Familiar with system level product specification, characteristic, architecture, and assist on product training material preparation

Qualifications:• BS. in CE, CS, EE or any technical major with 1+ years of working experience in hardware testing is strongly preferred• Experience in using Linux and MS Windows operating systems • Knowledge on server Hardware and architecture• Strong troubleshooting skills• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness• Solid communications skills both verbal and written• Able to work independently and be a good team player

Salary Range

$68,000 - $136,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
