About this role:

The Test Engineer position is responsible for building, executing, and automating test cases based on test plans and functional requirements across our products.

What you will do: 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Build, execute, and automate test cases based on test plans and functional requirements

• Conduct functional testing of new requirements and enhancements of applications

• Perform peer reviews of test scripts, results and documentation

• Interpret and report testing results and advocate for quality in every phase of the development process

• Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented

What you will need 

Strong IT professional with 2-4 years of experience in software testing (websites and/or mobile applications). The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.

Must have:

• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Experience in performing functional and regression validation of web applications and web services (REST).

• Experience in estimation, prioritization, and delivery of QA activities in a Scrum environment

• Experience with programming languages such as Java and/or JavaScript is essential.

• Experience with an industry standard test automation tool such as Selenium, NightWatch, Playwright etc.

• Experience in API testing tools like Postman or similar.

• Familiarity with a test case management and defect management software such as JIRA.

• Knowledge of Performance testing (JMeter) and automated test suite integration with Continuous integration (Jenkins) are nice-to-haves.

• Strong attention to detail, end-user quality, and usability.

• Ability to work in a team with some direction.

Who you are

• Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred. 

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

• Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.

• Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies
