Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Test Engineer II to join our agile software development team focused on DevSecOps solutions. As a Test Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of system test solutions, assist in the development of innovative Test Automation solutions, and actively participate in the preparation and execution of comprehensive system/element level test plans.

Complete Description

As a Test Engineer II, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• You will collaborate with the team to develop innovative Test Automation solutions, participate in the preparation and execution of comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures, and contribute to system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews.
• Your responsibilities will also include documenting test requirements and methodologies, reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure alignment with system needs, and ensuring accuracy, comprehensiveness, consistency, and completeness of test plans and methodologies.
• Furthermore, you will support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware system integration testing.
• Active participation in engineering peer reviews and project technical risk analysis will be essential in maintaining technical quality and mitigating risks.
• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware system integration testing.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with automated testing techniques and tools.
• Technical documentation and analysis experience.
• Experience in Agile development processes.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Open to 25% travel.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development processes.
• Experience with real-time operating systems.
• Experience with emulation/virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with ground-based radars, particularly Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) / PAVE Phased Array Warning System (PAVE PAWS), or the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS).
• Experience using test automation tools and writing basic test scripts using Java or Python programming languages.
• Experience in Linux scripting using Bash or Python.
