Test Engineer - Manual/Automation

About the role: 

We are looking to hire a skilled test engineer to design and implement quality-check procedures for the project. The candidate should have both frontend and backend automation experience, along with skills regarding manual test case management. To ensure success as a test engineer in this project, you should have in-depth knowledge of engineering, product design and must have advanced skills in automation tools such as Cypress. 

Responsibilities: 

• Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters. 
• Analyze features and design test parameters. 
• Create customized quality checks and performance tests. 
• Write test plans and create test cases for the product. 
• Write up final test procedures for the quality technicians. 
• Train the quality assurance staff and provide technical support when needed. 
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards. 
• Prepare test reports for management. 

Must have: 

• Understanding of end-to-end testing process, regression, execution, and documentation using tools such as Postman, Testlink, among others.
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, and TypeScript.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related fields. 
• Previous work experience as a test engineer or QA. 
• Familiarity with Cypress testing tool. 
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures. 
• Good problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to project manage. 
• Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box. 
• High-level technical writing skills. 

Good to have: 

• Experience with other testing tools such as Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW.
