Test Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

This program requires employees pass a CI Poly every 5 years.  If you have a Full Scope Poly, working this program will keep your Full Scope ACTIVE.

North Point Technology is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Test Engineer who has experience with test automation.

 The GEOINT Repository for Needs (GRFN) Program provides critical capabilities to help enable efficient and timely GEOINT collection management across multiple collection providers. The GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system operates on multiple security levels and combines FOSS/COTS software/hardware with a custom-built application to meet critical mission objectives. The program is structured utilizing DevSecOps and Agile methodologies. These software development methodologies emphasize communication, collaboration (information sharing and web service usage), integration, automation, and measurement of cooperation between software developers and other IT professionals. Operational stability is the program’s number one priority. 

Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, curious problem solvers with a BS in Computer Science or related field, plus the following skills/experience:

• Design and develop test automation scripts
• Using test automation guidelines
• Applying automated tools to support the testing of applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Write code to interact with the application simulator, application, and number of other test tools
• Evaluating the functional and non-functional requirements for testability and the test cases and use cases for suitability for automation

Basic Qualifications include:

•  Experience with an established test team on a medium to large scale development program
•  Domain knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC)
•  Experience as a test automation engineer
•  Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
•  Highly accurate and detail-oriented
•  Experience in development and/or execution of Automated Testing (TestComplete, Java, SQL, Selenium JavaScript, Jenkins)
•  Experience in test execution in a classified environment
•  Excellent oral and written skills

Preferred:

•  Prior domain knowledge related to the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
•  Understanding of the interaction of other Intelligence Community (IC) systems that interface with GIMS
•  Previous software development and/or system engineering experience
•  Familiar with git
•  Experience with performance monitoring tools and visualizations
•  Ability to conduct demonstrations for both internal (program) and external (customer) audiences
•  Experience in working on an Agile program
