Specific responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist the Electrical Engineers in the creation of schematics, PCBs, Test Plans, and PCA Documentation.
- Work with the Test Engineering team to develop PCA Test requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of new fixtures, processes, and equipment.
- Support Product Lifecycle Management Projects concerning PCA design.
- Perform prototype troubleshooting and analysis of test failures.
- Use Oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal chambers, logic analyzers, and other test and measurement equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ECAD tools for schematic capture, layout and component library management is a plus.
- Interested in Analog and Digital design.
- MS Office proficient.
- Lab skills in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing Electronics (PCB and Interconnect), Electro-mechanical, and mechanical equipment.
- Preference is being given to the candidate from university of Minnesota. This internship is a partnership between University of Minnesota and their career center.
