Test Engineer/Requirements and Data Analyst II

Future Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer/ Requirements and Data Analyst to join our winning team. Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Support a team leader in meet tasking objectives
• Review, evaluate & analyze system level test documentation for technical accuracy, requirement coverage and consistency with Customer direction
• Review and analyze requirement sets from the program developer using DOORS and similar applications, evaluating specifications for applicability to ship platforms and test approaches
• Document requirement selections and results from testing of the selections is test articles and datasets
• Assemble modified requirement sets, test packages and test records using automated tools based on Microsoft, Web-based, and Developer supplied applications
• Coordinate requirement reviews and schedule with Customer
• Provide review comments and deficiency notices to Developer and Navy test organizations
• Provide assistance to test teams and support organizations on recommended test coverage and approaches
• Adjudicate comments and ensure corrections are incorporated into test documentation
• Follow development of automated engineering and analysis tools to ensure applications provide adequate test approaches and results details

NOTE: This is not a remote work position.

Qualifications

Education and requirements:

• Education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline, or acceptable technical field such as business analytics with a minimum of 2 years of direct work experience; Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of direct work experience; or High School/GED diploma with 8 years of experience
• Proven technical writing and editing ability (please be prepared to provide samples)
• Experience with the AEGIS Weapon System or Combat System Elements
• Use of MS Excel and IBM DOORS functions and macros with large data sets
• Programming experience with MS Virtual Basic
• Experience operating or maintaining the AEGIS Weapon System
• Experience in U.S. DoD and FMS technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews
