Roles and Responsibilities

• Extensive wmA experience in Quality Assurance in both Manual and Automation testing together - mainframe as well as open systems
• COBOL experience for Code coverage testing
• JCL and other mainframe utilities
• Understanding of scheduler, mainframe batch and online
• Familiarity with Insurance data and schema - Life , Annuities
• Mainframe file compare testing experience and building scenario coverage
• Mainframe Testing automation framework experience
• Experience in functional, UI and End-to-End testing using automation tools like Selenium Web Driver, TestNG, Junit and Cucumber, Rest Assured, Maven, Github, Jenkins.
• Implemented different frameworks like Keyword Driven, Data Driven, BDD, Page object model
• Performed the API testing using Rest Assured, JSON.simple, TestNG, Jenkins, Postman.
• Database , test data integration into the automation framework - RDBMS, hbase, mainframe
• Azure DevOPS skillset,Quality pipeline setup experience is preferred
• Hands on experience in Quality Assurance for End-to-End implementations by overcoming the challenges and drive through till the completion of projects
• Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Azure integration into qtest/ALM and traceability / coverage based reporting
• Understanding on pipeline integration for - Performance, ADA,CBT,RWD coverage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience.
• 5 years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Skilled in wmA, Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, Selenium and Java / Javascript.
• Extensive experience translating business requirements into effective test cases, test planning, test automation and test execution.
• Technical writing, including test cases, plans & specifications, definition of done, acceptance criteria/thresholds, and test results.
• Building robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing.
• Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code.
• Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the environment/test automation frameworks.

- wmA

- Mainframe, COBOL, JCL

- Test script/test library creation

- API Automation

- Selenium WebDriver / Mocha

- TestNG, Cucumber, Jenkins, Github
