The Test Manager is responsible for facilitating systems and testing exercises including but not limited to; project-based testing such as UAT, producing testing materials and artifacts in partnership with business units and/or technical leads. Overseeing the testing lifecycle on various change management activities and promoting testing best practices. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate project-based systems testing exercises with teams based on project requirements
• Document and execute test cases/scripts and manage test results for various types of systems testing
• Participate in preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no-go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status
• Present test improvements and developments in daily progress meetings during project testing cycle
• Act as the primary liaison communicating between the project team the rest of the internal and external organization
• Develop detailed test plans for projects, status tracking and reporting, and production of high quality deliverables for clients
• Oversee test plans and validate results for non-project systems changes
• Research and advocate for testing best practices
• Responsible for all test, test tool development, improvement of test automation, and configuration management activities

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Capability as a Test Manager (minimum 3+ years)
• Experience working in project delivery (minimum 2 years)
• Experience in test planning and strategies

Industry and Work Experience:
• 2-5 years of experience

Academic:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or related field preferred
