Test Reliability Technician 

Job Summary:
Test Technicians at Lunar Energy will be responsible for supporting the validation activities for all of Lunar Energy’s Products. This includes building out our test infrastructure and assets, Instrumentation of test articles, performing Pre-, Mid-, Post-Test inspections and monitoring. We are looking for people who are passionate about a more sustainable and energy independent  future and want to make that vision a reality. An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.

On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely:

• Collaborate with test, mechanical and electrical engineers across the company to build test stations
• Instrument test articles with various sensors and monitoring equipment according to instrumentation diagrams
• Build various test wire harnesses for connecting test articles to the test equipment
• Collaborate with test engineers to get test articles and data acquisition systems prepared for test execution
• Coordinate with internal and 3rd party testing facilities to get tests scheduled and executed
• Conduct visual inspections and monitoring signals of on-going  tests and document any issues
• Ensure the test lab is fully stocked with relevant consumables and other associated test resources
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Preferred Skills:

• Reading schematics  and building wire harnesses for test set ups
• Working with Thermocouples, Voltage & Current  Probes and other data acquisition equipment
• Building of test fixtures using strut channel or t-slot framing
• Experience with environmental chambers
