Test Specialist (Custom Applications)

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Review software specifications
• Create update and review Test Cases
• Execute manual and automated integration tests
• Writing and maintaining automation test scripts
• Collaborate to define the test scope
• Test analysis and test design for automation
• Defect reporting and management
• Collaboration with developers business analysts and business or IT experts
• Experience in end-to-end testing process
• Excellent team work skills encouraging collaboration with developers testers and stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Attention to detail
• Analytical thinking
• Understanding of the Software Development Life-cycle
• Knowledge of SW testing types (e.g. acceptance testing smoke test basic acceptance testing ad-hoc testing exploratory testing functional and non-functional testing regression testing etc.)
• Defect detection reporting and its life cycle
• Experience with SAP Hybris based applications will be a plus
• Experience with Java and OOP from a Test Automation Perspective
• Hands on experience using Selenium GIT Jenkins
• Knowledge of web services (SOAP / REST) and testing tools
• Understanding of SQL on the level of writing queries
• A good understanding of all phases of Software Development Life-cycle.
• Knowledge of testing types (UAT smoke testing market acceptance testing exploratory testing functional integration testing regression testing etc.)
• Analytical thinking and detail orientation
• Great planning and organizational skills good time management with the ability to manage and prioritize own workload
