Test Specialist - Mainframe

Your Role and Responsibilities
Tests applications and systems for applications developed using Mainframe technologies. The Test Specialist develops the test scenarios and test cases executes test cases to verify that the system is built as per the requirements of mainframe applications. Usually focuses on functional testing of the applications. Knowledge of character based mainframe screens navigation datasets JCL SDSF and utilities would be the primary requirement for practitioners specializing in this specialty.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of test case development
• Execution of test procedures.
• Ability to write and execute acceptance tests and test cases a must.
• Interest in developing Mainframe skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 1 year of experience with 390 experience in Bank or Financial Projects CARTERA Experience in Agile methodologies COBOL.
