Test Systems Engineer

Eaton's Vehicle Group Division is looking to add a Test Systems Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Marshall, Michigan facility.Relocation and sponsorship are not available for this position.

Position Overview:

The primary function of the Test Systems Engineer is to create, maintain, improve, and communicate updates for test equipment for multiple test lab environments within the Marshall campus.

In this function you will:

• Partner with product engineering to understand customer's requirements and their implications for testing programs.
• Develop, execute and document test profiles and procedures.
  Assist in design and build of test fixtures. Devise new ways of fixturing parts and improving testing capabilities for better test efficiency.
• Architect, write, and debug CANape/iTest/LabVIEW/Python with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable. Troubleshoot and debug issues with test equipment.
• Design test methods and use of special equipment as required.
• Perform data analysis of high speed test data and partner with product engineering to decide next steps, based on analysis.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 3 months of engineering experience (including co-op/internship experience).
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility in Marshall, MI will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred qualifications:

• Electrical and Mechanical background/experience
• Automotive/Vehicle, Aerospace, or Industrial Automation
• iTest/CANape/LabVIEW data acquisition and controls experience
• Experience developing and analyzing data acquisition and control systems
