Testing & Support Senior Associate Summary:

RSM's Center for Advanced Tax Technology ("CATT") is one of the fastest growing tax practice groups at RSM. The CATT team is focused on enhancing RSM US and global ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient Tax products and services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax functional, tax technical, technology development, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.

The Testing & Support Sr. Analyst is a National Tax position. This role will participate in business solution analysis, testing, implementation, and ongoing support activities for the RSM national Tax technology platform. The primary responsibilities are a mix of support and testing of existing tax products and tools along with the implementation of new ones. Assistance with business functions, tax contracts, and invoicing may also be required.

Testing - includes the following:

• UAT testing and maintenance of scheduled and ad hoc Tax products and tools
• UAT testing of new Tax products and tools as they are developed and evaluated
• Regression testing for enterprise technology initiatives requiring Tax input and confirmation
• Document and sharing testing results
• Test case design for UAT testing, if needed

Support - includes the following:

• Level 2 & 3 ongoing support and maintenance of existing Tax products and tools
• Level 2 & 3 ongoing support and maintenance of new Tax products and tools from project implementations
• Level 3 support ticket follow up when assigned including communications and alignment with IT
• Development and maintenance of Tax technology knowledge articles and user guidance
• Identify and drive solutions for Tax support issues and bug fixes
• User setup and administration for various Tax products
• Establish and manage relationships with IT line of business

Functional Business Analysis - includes some or all of the following

• Gather and document functional requirements for enhancements to existing Tax products, tools, or processes
• Assist with the implementation of new Tax products, tools, or processes
• Set up and configuration of Tax products and tools in both test and production environments
• Establish and manage relationships with Tax line of business subject matter experts

Qualifications:

Education:

• 2- or 4-year degree in business or technology preferred or other relevant experience
• Experience in tax or accounting preferred but not required

Experience:

• Minimum of 1+ years relevant work experience required
• Accounting experience with a mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience preferred
• Prior experience working within a national role in software products and tools preferred
