Therapies Support Staff - St. Paul (Casual)

On-Call Therapies Support Position for the Rehab Therapies Department at the 205 University Avenue East, St. Paul, Minnesota location. This position will be scheduled to work Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Weekday availability during the summer months and holidays as needed. The minimum requirement for a casual position is to work one Saturday per month (one shift must be a business closure day). This position exists to provide support to the provision of therapy services before, during, and after the appointment through maintenance of the environment of care, patient care assistance, and administrative support.

Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize care around each patient's condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting rate of pay is $19/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience using of Microsoft office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• American Heart Association BLS for HealthCare workers or obtained within 90 days of hire

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare environment
• Advanced training/ education
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly dynamic team environment
