Third Party Operations Manager

Job Description:

Third Party Operations Manager positions offered by Diageo North America, Inc. (Coral Gables, FL). Drive compliance of Diageo products to Brand Technical Manual specifications and ensure quality objectives are met for anything produced by Third Party Operations. Lead the introduction and the commercialization of brands in new markets through a new or an existing Third Party. Provide project management leadership for product roll out, new brand start-ups and global initiatives. Embed TPO Management standards with new and existing TPO including performance management, contract development or renewal, quality management, cost management, to maximize TPO value. Challenge and develop plans to improve the cost effectiveness and efficiencies in all Third-Party Operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in biochemistry, brewing, microbiology science, engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience managing the supply of beer in a minimum 1 million hectoliter brewery, including leading Brewing, Packaging or Quality Assurance. Also requires 3 years of experience: across multiple countries improving quality, reducing cost and delivering innovation projects; improving beer quality (sensory, microbiological & analytical) and decreasing cost of goods sold; delivering continuous improvement project management through use of Six Sigma processes in manufacturing sites; and managing or operating health and safety and food safety risk management by applying internationally recognized standards in ISO Quality Systems and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. Requires 1 year of experience managing a brewery with responsibility for beer production and beer quality, and for managing departmental budgets, managing capital expenditure and developing the brewery's staff. Requires a Master Brewer/Brewmaster certification from a recognized Brewing School. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
