Third Party Oversight Senior Associate
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist build-out of comprehensive Third-party Oversight Program and related processes in alignment with risk management frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the implementation of tools and automation to support effective management and oversight of third-party risk and mature processes to scale the program
- Build Third-party catalog/database
- Act as the point of contact and co-ordinate with vendor during the onboarding process. Ensure risks and action items are well documented, reviewed and communicated to all parties involved
- Is accountable for performing/oversight of vendor risk assessments, vendor risk methodologies, periodic monitoring, process documentation, risk remediation, and reporting (both internal and external)
- Provide support and input for related audits or examinations from internal/external parties and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure findings are appropriately remediated
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve the Third-party Oversight Program through identifying opportunities and leading enhancements
- Develop and deliver training to build awareness of third-party risks and risk management processes
- Provide on-going consulting and subject-matter expertise related to third-party risk
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years of third-party risk management experience, prefer in the financial services industry, conducting risk assessments
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a GRC platform, prefer RSA Archer, incorporating continuous improvement for the system and process
- Working knowledge of third-party management and risk management frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to map processes/workflows and requirements gathering, and able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills (organizing, planning, reporting, documenting driving tasks to closure, etc.)
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Knowledge of information security is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Sourcing, or Technology.
