The Opportunity

The TPRM Testing and Monitoring Analyst I will support the efforts of Independent Risk Management to assess compliance with Third Party Risk Management requirements and facilitate the identification and escalation of Third Party risks through various routines that support the annual testing plan.

The Work Itself

  • Executing testing and monitoring activities timely and with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Participating in meetings across internal groups such as Third Party Risk, Enterprise Resilience, Business Lines, subject matter expert groups such as Information Protection, Privacy, etc.
  • Working with Third Party data to enhance the Testing and Monitoring program.
  • Assisting with execution of quarterly monitoring routines.
  • Taking initiative and looking for ways to innovate and advance the overall TPRM program.
  • Maintaining satisfactory relationships with and facilitating engagement of key stakeholders across Ally.
  • Providing updates on progress of activities while responding to feedback timely.

The Skills You Bring

  • Third Party Management, Risk Management, and/or Testing and Monitoring experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently highly recommended
  • Technical and analytical expertise - Microsoft suite with advanced Excel abilities preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across organizational levels.
  • Ability to self-prioritize tasks, work collaboratively, and support multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to comfortably interact with various levels of management.
  • Position locations - Charlotte, North Carolina ; Detroit, Michigan; Fort Washington, Pennsylvania
  • Bachelors degree in business (preferable HR, Auditing, Accounting/Finance, or Risk majors) in lieu of experience.
