A Career with Point72’s Operational Risk Team
The Operational Risk Team at Point72 is responsible for identification, monitoring, and reporting of operational risk across the firm. Our growing and motivated team evaluates and strengthens the firm’s operational risk profile through execution of value-creating, cross-functional initiatives, and support of the strategic growth process of the firm relating to operational risk, including portfolio management and private investment activities. The group reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and engages with other senior leaders to highlight and make recommendations to mitigate operational risks associated with internal and external opportunities. We also partner closely with other risk-minded professionals on business continuity and resilience, enterprise risk, and business process reengineering activities.

What you’ll do
- Assist the Third-Party Risk Manager in implementing a vendor lifecycle process globally across Point72 to sufficiently mitigate risk and performing risk and control assessments
- Support vendor due diligence activities
- Play a key role in managing the third-party risk management system and help drive automation of processes and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers through regular touchpoints
- Assist in writing policies, setting standards, and building frameworks for the administration of a robust and informative vendor risk monitoring and reporting program
- Support other team members in their efforts pertaining to operational risk management and business resiliency when required
- Partner closely with Compliance, Information Security, Procurement, and other internal groups

What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience working with vendors
- 2nd line experience encompassing governance, policy, and framework building

The annual base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
