Job Description
We are looking for BI Senior Analyst with a minimum of 2 years consulting experience in ThoughtSpot based either at Columbia, MD or Denver, CO although we are open to remote as well if you are truly exceptional and have strong client-facing experience.Â

Opportunity HighlightsÂ
- Develop and maintain interactive, self-service data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using ThoughtSpot and similar tools eg Tableau or PowerBIÂ
- Design and develop worksheets, liveboards, and SpotIQ analysis to provide deeper insights and utilize Ai/data exploration capabilities in ThoughtSpotÂ
- Perform data modeling and schema design within ThoughtSpot, including the creation of relationships, joins, and custom SQL queriesÂ
- Work with relational databases (Snowflake preferred) to integrate, clean, and prepare data for use in ThoughtSpotÂ
- Optimize and troubleshoot ThoughtSpot performance, including load times, indexing, caching, and query optimizationÂ
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into wireframes and functional/aesthetic dashboardsÂ
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence) to enhance data quality and governanceÂ
- Keep up to date with the latest ThoughtSpot releases, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our BI environmentÂ

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or quantitative field. Masters degree is a plusÂ
- 2 years of experience in ThoughtSpot worksheet and liveboard development (mandatory)Â
- Experience and familiarity with SpotIQ and Sage strongly preferredÂ
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience in Snowflake (there will be a SQL test!)Â
- 5+ years of overall BI experience including other tools such as Tableau (preferred) or Power BI
- Experience with best practices around visualization to meet business needsÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Flexibility to ensure client delivery as a consultant – adjust to East/West coast hoursÂ
- Experience with marketing domain is a plusÂ
Additional Information
