WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced Threat Assessment professional to join our small but growing organization. This threat investigator must be capable of building positive relationships with internal partners including HR and Employee Relations partners, as well as law enforcement partners and external mental health professionals. This candidate will use appropriate standard methodologies and training to better protect Nike.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be working on all matters involving threats, workplace violence, intimate partner violence, suicidal ideation, stalking and matters involving weapons. Additionally, you will be partnering with key collaborators to ensure the best outcomes.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will partner with team members throughout Nike including but not limited to line-level employees/managers, business leaders, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Loss Prevention, Global Security and Intelligence.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
- 5 years of work experience
- 3+ years of corporate work experience preferred.
- 3+ years of Threat Management/Mitigation experience preferred.
- Professional affiliation with ATAP, Certified Threat Management (CMT) certification, GDBA Threat Management training are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work on confidential issues with integrity.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in investigative interviewing, collecting and analyzing evidence, documentation, record keeping and providing briefings/presentations to senior leaders.
- Strong time management skills and ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with online social media analysis, open-source research and commercial database research.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
