Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking DevOps Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, and GitOps.

• Utilize cloud infrastructure services like AWS and Azure for deploying and managing applications.

• Write efficient, maintainable scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and infrastructure management.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure delivery of code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, security experts, and threat researchers) to align DevOps processes with cybersecurity best practices.

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure using containers to support secure, resilient applications.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Proven experience in managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and compliance automation.

• Experience in a cybersecurity-focused environment is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Experience with VMware environments like ESXi is a plus.

• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
