Tier 3 IT Systems Analyst
Job Description
Cobb Technologies is currently seeking a Tier 3 IT Systems Analyst candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service team (MSP). You will join a team of trained and certified IT Systems Analysts. The Tier 3 IT Systems Analyst will provide day-to-day support to clients implementing projects and deploying new technologies. The position will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing and building out networks, providing escalated support, and delivering exceptional IT solutions.
The Tier 3 IT Systems Analyst will be in a key position within the expanding team. If you have experience with Windows servers, routing, switching, and virtualization technologies you are highly encouraged to apply. You must be willing to travel to client sites and provide end-to-end solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, including PCs, Switches, Routers, Internet, E-mail, etc.
Job Requirements
- Resourcefulness, patience, and willingness to escalate with partners as needed.
- Ability to listen, confirm, re-assure, and respond in a professional manner to customer requests.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Microsoft M365 administration (Exchange, Azure AD, SPOL, and Office applications).
- MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization
- Experience in designing and deploying servers in on-premises and cloud environments, using VMWare, Microsoft Server 2019/2022, and Microsoft Azure
- Installation and configuration of Switches, Wireless AP's and Firewalls
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certificate and/or 4-5 years' experience
- VMWare, Microsoft, CompTIA, or other product specific certifications are a plus.
- Flexibility for occasional afterhours support and travel within the state as needed.
Primary Functions of the Tier 3 IT Systems Analyst:
- Serve as the top tier of escalation for complex server and network issues.
- Define system designs for business technology initiatives, both internal and client-facing
- Provide incident, problem summaries, status reports, and project status, as required.
- Act as vendor liaison on product specific issues and follow through on remediation efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Lead team members on project-oriented engagements while driving toward completion.
- Have fun in a dynamic and fast paced results driven environment.
