Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace TIG Welder with a proven track record of working with high precision on materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of welding experience, with a strong focus on aerospace quality standards. This role requires a meticulous approach to work, exceptional skill in TIG welding, and a commitment to producing components that meet our rigorous quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform TIG welding on various aerospace-grade materials, including aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel, ensuring high-quality welds.
• Read and interpret engineering designs to understand welding requirements.
• Maintain adherence to aerospace welding standards and specifications, ensuring all components meet the highest quality and safety standards.
• Inspect and test welds and components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and correct potential issues before they affect product quality.
• Continuously improve welding processes and techniques to increase efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform other related welding or assembly duties, as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in TIG welding, with a significant portion of that experience in welding with aerospace tolerances
• Proficient in welding aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel with high precision.
• Candidates with AWS D17.1 certifications preferred.
