Tile Worker

Overview Advance is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile installation and a strong understanding of various construction techniques. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications. Duties • Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring accurate dimensions for installation. • Prepare surfaces for tile application, including cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives. • Install tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings using appropriate techniques and tools. • Grout and seal tiles to ensure durability and a polished appearance. • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and drywall installers, to complete projects efficiently. • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills: • Proficiency in frame carpentry and drywall installation. • Familiarity with roofing techniques and the ability to fabricate materials as needed. • Experience operating heavy equipment safely on construction sites. • Knowledge of construction painting methods and plaster application. • Ability to hang doors accurately as part of finishing work on projects. • Previous experience in construction site environments is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication skills.
