Job Description

Job Summary:

The Treasury Management Services (TMS) Relationship Manager helps manage TAB Bank's TMS customers and risks pertaining to the Bank's TPPP (Third Party Payment Processor) Relationships. Commercial Banking customers partner with TAB Bank and the bank processes payments on their behalf. The TPPP Relationship Manager will work with Commercial Banking business lines, Enterprise Risk Management, AML and Compliance Operations, and the Bank's Legal Department to ensure TPPP customers are compliant and positioned for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned TPPP customers who have partnered with the Bank
  • Monitor payment and merchant activity for each TPPP customer by providing detailed oversight of TPPP activity
  • Serve as primary point of contact for strategic bank partners as it relates to their commercial banking services
  • Identify risks and non-compliant activity and work with appropriate Bank departments to develop course correction plans
  • Create and maintain comprehensive files that document TPPP partner policies and procedures, reviews, and decision-making processes when enhanced due diligence is required
  • Report to Bank's Compliance Council, ERM Committee, and Operations Committee on periodic customer reviews
  • In conjunction with the Customer Success Manager, perform profitability reviews for selected customers and TPPP clients.
  • Interact with Bank's Compliance Department and ERM Group to successfully prepare for future growth of the Bank's TPPP portfolio
  • Work closely with all related departments to establish and adhere to interdepartmental service level agreements
  • Perform periodic site visits
  • Maintain excellent customer service levels
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a financial or business-related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience of relationship management experience within the financial industry
  • Previous Third-Party Payment Processor experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Detailed oriented, organized, and capable of identifying suspicious or non-compliant activity within complex or robust partnerships
  • Ability to interact and work with other departments and multiple levels of leadership within the Bank
  • Self-starter, with professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently and within a team
  • A proactive personality who is capable of identifying and performing jobs to be done without direction instruction
