Tool and Gage Tech 3

Your day to day:

Individual will perform setup and execution of various pieces of measuring and test equipment. Individual will also perform troubleshooting of manual and automated pieces of Measurement and Testing Equipment (M&TE) when determined that the equipment is performing below expectations or when negative trends are observed. Perform routine repetitive assignments involving detail visual mechanical and dimensional inspections in accordance with approved procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

Perform setup and execution of various pieces of measuring and test equipment. Perform general setups of measuring equipment including but not limited to Coordinate Measuring Machine, Comparators, Vision System and Views

Monitor preventive maintenance programs. Assist vendor engineers or plant maintenance personnel in making installation and major repairs or modifications.

Perform dimensional inspections and physical measurements.

Working with various teams to assure proper tool and gauge controls.

Who you are:

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) - Minimum Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate in Science or Technical School Certificate in Technology or two years post high school technical training in metrology, preferred.

Years of Experience 0-3

3 years in manufacturing environment preferred.

Mechanically inclined.

Problem solving / Troubleshooting.

Familiarity with gauges and measurement tools
