Job Description

• Tool Design Engineer responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Create new tooling models or update / re-draw existing tooling models per supplied specification's
  • Review tooling issues and implement corrective action
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and develop tools as required
  • Generate and update tool requirement status reports based on current projects
  • Conduct tool fit and function tryouts
  • Follow Standard Work (SW) guidelines / processes / procedures.
  • Ensure Export / ITAR compliance for project deliverables.
  • Suggest continuous improvement ideas to achieve manufacturing / quality goals & tolerances.
  • Introduce cost savings proposals and collaborate on initiatives in respect to Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) programs.
  • Support implementation of Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
  Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience with CAD software - AutoCAD, Solidworks, UG / NX.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, organization / communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • US Citizen. Security verification is mandatory employment consideration.
  Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Associate of Science (AS) with 2+ years' experience - or - appropriate coursework / education/ training in the manufacturing field.
