Tools / Automation Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Tools Engineer to join the team! In this role, you will own and implement tools within the unreal engine ecosystem. You will be working with all members of the team to facilitate their development needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the automation authoring process by building reusable libraries of automation functions in blueprint/C++
• Implement automation pipeline improvements to surface the results of tests to interested parties with easy to understand data inspection for overall automation health
• Work with engineering teams to understand the automation goals for their systems and build out automated tests to support their needs.
• Maintain and extend existing tools/automation to meet the needs of the project and team

Requirements

• Proficiency in C#, C/C++, and Visual Studio
• A strong interest in tools/automation creation and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong drive to bring things to completion
• Solid math skills 

Preferences

• Previous work on Engine/Editor work is desirable
• Previous experience in authoring of automated tests for games
• Previous experience shipping AAA titles

The estimated base pay range for this role is:

$95,000—$135,000 USD
