Position: Tools Engineer
Location: Remote Working ArrangementÂ
Jackalyptic Games is seeking a talented and experienced Tools Engineer to join our team! As a Tools Engineer your responsibilities will include working with the art, design, production, and engineering to ensure we have effective and efficient tools and workflows so the team can realize the game vision.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all disciplines to:
- Analyze all existing tools and workflows to find inefficiencies
- Design improvements to those tools and workflows
- Architect and implement tool and workflow improvements
- Maintain existing tools and workflows
- Design, architect, and implement new tools and workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of professional tool development experience
- Excellent programming skills in C#/C++
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5
- Experience working on current gen console games
- Python development skills
- Web development skills
- A deep passion for games, and game development
