Tools Engineer – Mid to Senior

As a Tools Engineer at Bungie, you will gain experience with our engine and tools technology that enables our content creators to craft incredible player experiences. You will help champion the user experience by working on the features and pipelines that empower content creation in Destiny.  Most importantly, you will work with an experienced team to extend our powerful game engine. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build and maintain production-quality code using C# and C++ 
• Build user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) 
• Collaborate daily with an engineering team focused on improving art and graphics workflows
• [If senior] Help translate team goals into actionable plans and ability to lead (manage or mentor) engineers 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages 
• Familiarity implementing and managing artists’ workflows and tools  
• Effectively communicating with artists of different technical backgrounds
• [If senior] Providing craft mentorship and sharing subject matter expertise to other engineers

Listed below are the two base pay ranges associated with this role at multiple levels. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly). 

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
