Tools Programmer
Deck Nine Games is looking to hire a talented full-time remote Tools Programmer to help build out our tools and pipeline for our studio.
Located near Boulder, Colorado, Deck Nine Games is a BAFTA and VGA nominated developer of narrative adventure games. Always innovating, we're growing and are seeking highly qualified programmers to join our amazing team.
Our programmers work with all disciplines across the studio and are a key component to our games.
Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Lead Tools Programmer to help build and improve tools to increase the efficiency and quality our pipelines and games
• Help our devs work faster, smarter, and deliver better content

Qualifications

• Experience with the QT framework
• Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent
• Desire to help content teams work faster and more efficiently
• Tool architecture experience
• Be a driven, motivated personality that wants to make great tools

Pluses

• JIRA experience
• C# experience Unreal 4 experience
• Mocap pipeline and process experience
• Maya tools experience

Here at Deck Nine Games our passion is storytelling games. We are an independent game developer dedicated to crafting AAA interactive story games that inspire, transform, and entertain players. In 2021 we released Life is Strange True Colors, which went on to win multiple awards for storytelling and visuals, including best storytelling for 2021 and a VGA for Games for Impact. Recently we announced that we are developing a game for the hit sci-fi Amazon series, The Expanse. Our prior titles have won multiple awards, including Game of the Year and nominations for VGA and BAFTA awards.
