Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilitie

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to collect and analyze data for use in determining our total rewards strategy.
  • Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and streamline workflows.
  • Analyze total rewards data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for total rewards processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR partners and business leaders on total rewards-related issues and inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of total rewards training and communications to employees and managers.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data to inform decision-making.
  • Experience in process improvement, with a focus on streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Global mindset, with a sensitivity to and willingness to work across cultures and time zones.
  • Pro-active self-starter who can quickly adapt and upskill to new project requirements and apply their knowledge and skills to countries across the globe.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as HRIS systems and other compensation/benefits tools.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
