Position Summary
"In partnership with America's growers, Bunge North America is the vital link that connects food producers, manufacturers and consumers worldwide. We are a leader in Agribusiness and Food that extends from grain origination to the production of value-added food products for consumers as part of Bunge's global supply chain.

There is an opportunity for an internship position in the Trade Execution team of the Global Trade Execution Group. This position works with a multi-cultural team supporting foreign trade activities. The Trade Execution Intern will ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation and compliance of regulatory requirements for grain/by product bulk and oil container vessel shipments exporting from the U.S and Canada. The Intern will gain exposure to export shipment obligations, industry service providers, incoterms and international trade regulatory requirements of agencies including FGIS/GIPSA, APHIS, PPQ, etc."

Essential Functions • Assist with high volume of export transactions in day-to-day operations. • Support issuance and procurement of bulk and container documentation. • Request Certificates of Quality and Weight from state regulatory agencies. • Audit export documentation in alignment with departmental procedures. • Interact with service providers for alignment with contractual obligations on vessel executions. • Support setup of e-Record files with uploading documents into eDox Online, GlobalShare. • Support refinement of metric reporting for export execution activities. • Assist with export recordkeeping filing per BNA Record Retention policy in Covantis. • Gain exposure to changing regulatory environments to understand impact of foreign trade management on a global scale. • Special projects.

Skills / Experience Requirements • Pursuit of a degree in International Business, Management, or Business-related field. • Minimum completion of sophomore year. • Demonstrated interest in international affairs. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline focused environment. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work well independently with a focus on detail. • Dependable employee with a good work history.
