Trade Marketing Manager

The Role:
Meati Foods is currently seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to join our Business Development team. This position is responsible for partnering with our sales and finance team to execute our company's trade strategy. This role requires a high level of analytical capabilities and financial knowledge as you will be responsible for leading the development of our annual promotional plans that optimizes lift and spend. This person will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Trade Planning System Management: Lead the implementation and management of our new planning system while partnering with sales to ensure accurate and timely promotional planning and forecasting.
• Annual Trade Promotional Planning & Spend Management: Partner with sales teams to develop promotional plans that maximize trade efficiency & effectiveness. Evaluate historical & post promotional data to ensure forecast accuracy and identify promotional opportunities while balancing the trade budget.
• Cross Functional Sales Partner: Accurate financial trade reviews, represent sales in demand planning and partner with marketing to ensure trade tactics are in line with brand strategy.
• Channel Strategy: Lead customer segmentation and channel roles
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of related Sales & Trade Marketing experience in CPG.
• Experience managing a trade budget.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with syndicated data including Spins & Nielsen.
• Ability to collaborate with people in diverse functional areas.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $94,000 - $125,000/annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. In addition to the salary, this position is eligible for a potential annual bonus and equity! Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
