Job Description
Hold Brothers Capital, LLC, is a leading self-clearing broker/dealer and equity trading firm, located in Midtown Manhattan. We are currently poised for growth, are ramping up our existing trading operations team, and are looking to bring on operations professionals. Experience must include having worked at a clearing firm or in the P&S department of a self-clearing broker dealer.
Responsibilities/ Essential Functions
- Oversight and monitoring of the proprietary and customer trading activity
- Responsible for daily settlements with Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC).
- Reconciliation of bank accounts used by the firm.
- Assist the P&S department in resolving trade breaks with correspondents and trading accounts.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and compilation of all other regulatory monthly reporting.
- Involve in Trade Surveillance such as closely monitoring the firm's accounts for trading activity that appears unusual.
- Working closely with compliance and accounting areas on reconciling all trading activity.
- Help optimize all back-office processes and assist with trading projects related to process improvement.
- Providing support, validate various Upload/Download/Import/Export Transactional requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting (MBA Finance preferred), or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in operations in a trading or brokerage environment
- FINRA Securities licenses Series 7 and/or Series 99, preferred
- Strong knowledge of Backoffice, Equites Settlement, Compliance Systems, dealing with trade breaks etc.
- Brilliant Analytical, problem-solving Skills, quantitative mindset with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication

Target Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000
