Trade Operations Analyst

Position: Trade Operations Analyst

Work Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Cabrera Capital is currently seeking a talented and passionate Trade Operations Analyst to play a critical role in maintaining and perfecting the firms domestic and international sales and trading function. As a Trading Operations Analyst, you will work with team members on accurate and timely trade reporting, settlement reconciliations, counterparty set-ups, as well as trouble shoot and work on ad hoc issues and projects. In this role you will be exposed to many technical and trading challenges while ensuring availability, stability and performance of the end-to-end environment.

• Responsible for the company's middle and back office functions for all financial products
• Support all traders and sales associates in domestic and international equities, SWAPS, municipals, taxable fixed income, structured products, etc
• Facilitate the trade process and settlement in various direct settlement international markets
• Confirm trades with multiple banks and brokers on a daily basis
• Troubleshoot ad hoc issues which include P&L discrepancy, complex trade and settlement breaks, payment queries, data and trade error
• Consistently monitor the regulatory landscape to identify potential local/foreign issues that may impact the firm and it's clients.
• Assist with financial compliance examinations and inquiries from the SEC and/or FINRA and consistently ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with regulators at all times
• Create written operational and new client/foreign broker onboarding procedure
• Manage all CATS, TRACE & MSRB trade reporting, from submission to reconciliation
• Create and run trading and business intelligence reports for business needs/accounting
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Over one (1) year of experience in middle/back office Trade operations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or STEM concentration
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite
• Programming experience in Python or another language is highly preferred
