Trade Operations Analyst - Containerized Execution
Job Description
Trade Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and coordination all aspects of export documentation and providing accurate and timely documentation for containerized exports. Attention to detail and understanding of export documentation will ensure smooth and efficient export operations for our company. Effective coordination will be instrumental maintaining compliance while reducing risk.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for managing and coordination all aspects of export documentation.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation for our international buyers.
- Actively look for improvements in cost savings, operational efficiencies.
- Manage end to end documentation process for export container shipments.
- Prepare and review export-related documents as required.
- Collaborate closely with traders and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination regarding documentation.
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies or issues as needed to ensure prompt resolution and minimal impact on export operations.
- Continuously review and evaluate existing documentation processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with customers to ensure documentation requirements are met timely.
- Communicate as needed with appropriate internal/external customers, including traders, loading facilities, freight forwarders, steamship lines, brokers, and customers.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Transportation, or related field required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work proficiently with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate through problems and issues as needed.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
Special Demands:
- Indoor work environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
- Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator, computer printer, phone up to 90% of the time
- Frequently communicates with employees and customers in the office and at remote locations
