Trade Reporting Engineer - Full Time W2
Salary Range:-
$180,000 - $250,000 (Base)

Position Summary:-
As a Trade Reporting Engineer at Prometheum Inc, you will be a pivotal part of our development team, focusing on the advancement and optimization of our trading platforms. Your deep expertise in Trade Reporting systems will be crucial in driving our trading efficiency and strengthening our position in the market. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will apply state-of-the-art technologies to keep us at the forefront of the trading industry.
Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead the integration and management of our Trade Reporting systems as part of our ATS and custody solutions
• Collaborate closely with the trading team to convert complex requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough work with testing and QA to maintain system integrity and performance, preparing for and managing peak trading volumes.
• Proactively tackle system performance issues, devising and implementing solutions to enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience:-

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Trade Reporting systems development, with specific accomplishments in integrating with more than one of ORF, CAT, TRACE, ADF or similar
• Proficiency in modern programming languages with demonstrable skills in one of Rust, Typescript, C++ or C#, with a focus on efficacy and appropriate pattern use.
• Expert knowledge of message queue and message bus technologies, e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, and Redis Streams.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable additional skills:-

• Experience working with external vendors for trade reporting
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in financial markets, trading strategies, and quantitative analysis.
• Previous exposure to a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment.
