Trade Representative (Coordinator)

The new combined national footprint will serve more than 250,000 properties, facilitate approximately 2.5 million repair and maintenance orders, and complete nearly 20,000 renovation and turn projects per year. Lessen has quickly evolved from exciting startup to valued partner, delivering scalable and turnkey property services to our clients.

The Trade Representative plays an integral role in customer and vendor support to a specific client base. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining client and associate relationships, while serving as a specific trade related SME and resource that proactively resolves our vendors and SMEs daily challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors to gain an understanding of their operational needs in a specific trade related area, assists in the development and implementation of solutions to meet those needs
• Contribute to client and internal initiatives and special projects
• Serve as a technical and subject matter expert resource for the department and leadership
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external clients; resolving issues with vendors as necessary
• Proactively resolve vendor and client issues; drive all issues towards resolution and escalate on a timely basis only when necessary
• Take direction from Trade Specialist as required
• Foster a positive work environment
• Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data
• Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Role Specific Skills:

• Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook preferred
• SME in a specific relevant trade

You Should Have:

• Relevant trade knowledge preferred, i.e., plumbing, electrical, general construction, etc
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service
• Experience working in facilities maintenance in a commercial/retail buildings environment
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
