RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee operation and maintenance of our trading systems
• Develop automation tools to reduce operational overhead
• Collaborate with traders and developers to improve the system architecture
• Perform in-depth analysis of real time systems
• Provide support for proprietary trading systems deployed across a multi-platform production environment
• Support core market connectivity and correspond with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other related technical support issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-driven, passion for engineering, and a natural sense of curiosity
• Team player with strong communication skills
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating system (CentOS and/or Ubuntu experience is a plus)
• Excellent command of Python
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Prior experience supporting high performance applications, process monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with kubernetes / docker is a plus
• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Technology or similar field
