Trading Operations Analyst

Job Summary

The employee will work within the Trading Operations group. The employee will be responsible for daily processes and various project related duties.  Operations analysts transact with nearly all departments within the firm, including Treasury, Middle Office, Portfolio Managers, Trading Desk, and upper management. Constant interaction with counterparties and the fund administrator provide a well-rounded experience. The employee will gain exposure across all asset classes. 

Job Responsibilities

• Top day trade matching and reconciliation across all asset classes
• Counterparty, fund administrator, and FCM relationship management
• Securities limits monitoring
• Fixed Income funding and settlements
• T+1 trade and position reconciliations
• Settlements and position management
• Trade confirmations and documentation
• Commission management and EGUS implementation
• Ad hoc reporting and data gathering
• Process improvement

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and collaborate effectively with peers and management.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and other Windows based applications 
• Bloomberg experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of third party electronic trading platforms is a plus (Markit, CTM, ICELink, Traiana)
• Product knowledge is a plus
• SQL, VBA, Python, Tableau experience is a plus 

Compensation for this position is expected to be $80,000-$105,000, with the actual salary dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s education level and credentials, the salary expectations of applicable applicants, and other market conditions.
