TCB FX Trade Support Analyst (AVP) job spec:

You will be working as part of the Investment Banking middle office in either our Dallas or Houston, Texas locations. The role is part of a highly visible group that will work on the trading floor. Team members play an important role in the success of multiple lines of business and have a direct impact on the reputation of Texas Capital Bank. This role offers a unique opportunity to build relationships across multiple investment banking functions and establish partnerships with trading/sales, risk management, finance, technology, operational support teams, and third-party vendors.

Your expertise

• BA/BS degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, Legal Studies, and/or similar discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably working in financial services, technology, compliance, or law
• Strong knowledge of middle office trade support functions, fixed income products
• In-depth understanding of front-to-back fixed income transaction processing
• Preferred knowledge of BroadRidge trading platforms
• Strong organizational/time management skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging deadlines
• Resilient team player with a can-do attitude
• Knowledge of investment banking products and industry trends

Reporting into TCB’s Investment Banking Division, we are searching for a fixed income/fx trade support analyst to be responsible for the following:

• Contributing towards the evolution of the FX Middle Office team, assisting the FX Trading and sales teams, and establishing/improving internal controls and visibility
• Analyze business processes supported by current state mainframe environment and document functions, applications, in-bound/out-bound feeds, data flows, reports, and stakeholders impacted
• Assist the trading/sales desk in streamlining processes, implementing forward thinking technology solutions, helping to manage risk, provide client support
• Provide analytical support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically around FX related products
• Serve as the control point between the Front Office and Back Office departments throughout the life-cycle of a transaction
• Maintain and manage daily tasks including but not limited to trade reconciliations, trade authorization, management control reports, and trade and payment statuses
• Perform analyses of discrepancies to help resolve trade issues, client queries, or account reconciliations
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, Risk, Operations, and Front Office across the organization to grow and manage the business
• Internal Controls: ensuring following of the procedures, KPIs and KRIs, sample testing
• Systems and external platforms configurations & admin
• Recommend enhancements and work with product management to prioritize these including user acceptance testing
• Help drive change within organization to improve the way clients interact with TCB
